Ex-England & Glos bowler Lawrence diagnosed with MND

Former England and Gloucestershire cricketer Lawrence, 46, has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

MND is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.

Lawrence played for England between 1995 and 2001, and was known for his fast bowling skills.

He has since retired from professional cricket, but has remained involved in the sport through coaching and mentoring young players.

Lawrence is now facing a tough battle against MND, and has vowed to remain strong and positive in the face of this difficult diagnosis.
